The very first
First of all, I do not understand this blog format. Well yeah! I am new to blogging and I am technologically handicapped (not really!).
Anyway, I am gonna talk about why am I writing this. Whenever anybody asks me about my interests, I talk about random stuff to avoid the question. I have absolutely no idea how to explain to these strangers what I am interested in. It is just so hard to explain. Why? Because I am super-interested in life. And I have no idea how to explain this concept. And the sad part of the story, I have a very little understanding of life myself. Therefore, in this coming month, June 2014, I commit myself to understand life. And to keep myself motivated and committed long enough, I am writing this blog in an ink that will not be erased from the face of mankind for a pretty long time. I will try to decipher life from the point of view of the scientists, philosophers and the religious institutions, covering the range of subjects including evolutionary biology, genetics, paleontology, geology, philosophy, anthropology, history, sociology and theology. I will read variety of papers, books, ancient texts and opinions and I am gonna document it as I read it, without any bias. Yes! I solemnly swear that I will try to remain as unbiased as rationally possible.
On the side- note, I am a geneticist. Which makes being ignorant about the area of my interest even sadder. But I hope by the end of the project I will be a little more knowledgeable and a little wiser than I am now.
